Two Counties Community Care Limited

Domiciliary Care

Our organisation was founded in 1994 by the current Directors Marion and Richard Thorogood, to provide domiciliary care and support to those who wish to remain in their own home whilst receiving daily visits, night visits or 24 hour Live-in Care.

Prior to the commencement of our homecare agency, Marion was the Proprietor of children's day nurseries and a Home Care Manager for Essex Social Services. Richard was a Sub Divisional Commander in the Essex Police.

Our head office and training centre are in Finchingfield, Essex, UK. We have additional offices in Sandown and Newport on the Isle of Wight and a second training centre in Sandown. We also have Co-ordinators who are 24 hour care specialists based in various locations around the UK and their role is to support local services. Our training centres support our own carers and provide training to other care organisations and individuals.

As a homecare agency, we have maintained the friendly family atmosphere that was present at the commencement of our service and continue to provide a care service that is both friendly and professional. We value our carers and the service users we support. Whilst providing domiciliary care, our constant aim is to provide a service that is tailored to the needs of each individual service user.

We are registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection (previously National Care Standards Commission). We are also approved by various local authorities to provide domiciliary care within the UK. This allows monitoring and development of our service to occur whilst linking with the relevant care organisations.
